The Southland Express is a weekly tabloid community newspaper based in Invercargill. The Express is delivered free to all households in the Invercargill area and most of the Southland district with a weekly distribution of around 33,800. It features a weekly lift out of the Southland Property Press which is the preferred property publication in Southland.

SOUTHLAND TIMES
The Southland Times is a provincial daily paper covering Southland including Central Otago and the Southland area with a circulation of 29,000 of which 80% are subscribers. In an average week 97,000 people read a copy of The Southland Times.
